Timothy P. McLaughlin, P.E.

Tim was appointed Senior Vice President for Business Development in January 2012. Tim’s prior roles include Senior Vice President for Design Build and Senior Vice President for Construction Operations since 1997. 

Tim joined SPS as a Project Manager in 1994 after serving with the Massachusetts Highway Department for 11 years. While at the Massachusetts Highway Department, Tim was a District Construction Engineer, Asst. District Construction Engineer, and a Resident Engineer. Most notably, he supervised 180 Engineers & 190 Projects in District Four, in addition to supervising construction of the Beverly-Salem Bridge over the Danvers River. 

Tim has also served on the CIM Board of Directors as Chairman in 2012 and 2022. He is a member of the following industry organizations: CIM, New Hampshire Good Roads Association, MOLES, DBIA, APWA, CMAA, CIRI, and CCIA.

Tim also serves on SPS New England’s Executive Committee and Compliance Committee and plays on the SPS Hockey Team.
