Position Summary:
The Construction Technology & Systems Intern will support the management and integration of construction-related software used across project teams. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in the intersection of construction operations and technology. The intern will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools while helping improve workflows, system usage, and overall project efficiency.

Working closely with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and IT staff, this position offers exposure to real-world construction processes and the opportunity to contribute to technology-driven improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collaborating with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and IT teams to align software tools with project needs.
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and improvement of Procore construction software
  • Help monitor and optimize software usage to improve efficiency in project management, scheduling, cost tracking, and document control.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for system issues, process inefficiencies, and user questions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Participate in user training sessions and provide support to field and office teams as needed.
  • Support communication and coordination between field teams (superintendents, safety staff) and office personnel.
  • Assist with data entry, system audits, and ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms.
  • Participate in vendor research, evaluations, and implementation planning activities.
  • Observe and learn construction workflows to better understand how technology supports project execution.

Position Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems/Technology, Construction Management and technology, Software Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Understanding on how programs are built and what they should be able to do.
  • Interest in construction operations and technology systems.
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); exposure to construction software (Procore especially) is a plus but not required.
