Chris has over 32 years of experience in the design and construction of Heavy/Civil structures and roadways. Chris has executive responsibility for all aspects of construction contracting including cost estimating and bidding, cost control, procurement and contract negotiations, field operations, project management, scheduling, safety/risk management and quality control. Since joining SPS in 1996 as an Estimator, his role has included VP of Total Quality Management, VP of Estimating and VP of Project Management. His current focus is on the company’s contract pursuits and preconstruction planning and he maintains an integral role in our design-build ventures, value engineering, alternative technical concepts and ABC/innovative construction techniques. He is an inaugural member of SPS’s Safety Committee and TQM Committee. Chris holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a registered professional engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Delaware.
