Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to handle the processing of employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. This role will involve maintaining payroll records, addressing payroll inquiries, and assisting with tax filings and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

•Process weekly payrolls for up to 500 employees including union and prevailing wage employees, ensuring timely, accurate payments.

•Maintain payroll records, including hours worked, salary, deductions, and benefits.

•Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and union collective bargaining agreements

•Address payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

•Coordinate with HR to ensure that all new hires, terminations, and status changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system.

•Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s and tax filings.

•Support payroll audits and collaborate with HR and accounting teams.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

•Proven experience in payroll processing (construction industry background preferred)

•Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legal requirements.

•Proficient in payroll software (Viewpoint preferred), ADP, QuickBooks, andExcel.

•Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

•Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

•Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred. Payroll certification (CPP/FPC) a plus.
