Bridge Reconstruction – Pleasant Street over the Blackstone River

Project Overview:

SPS performed reconstruction of an historic stone arch bridge using innovative Design-Build procurement with an accelerated schedule.

Key Challenges Overcome:

Marine construction was required to install the center pier with steel H-pile foundations, concrete footings, riprap from work floats and using portadams.
