Another milestone completed on the Newton-Weston Bridge Bundle project. The SPS-Walsh JV successfully finished the final concrete bridge deck placements for this phase of construction. Crews worked long hours over six nights to place a total of 1,342 cubic yards of concrete. Next up: cast-in-place bridge barrier, bridge joint installation, and paving, followed by shifting westbound traffic onto the new bridge structure.
